Lumi is Luminance’s intelligent conversational assistant, helping teams across the business access the value of Contract Intelligence – finding information, understanding their contracts, and moving work forward – via simple conversation in natural language.

The next evolution of Lumi extends this conversational front door across the whole Luminance platform. Users can start by describing what they want to achieve, and Lumi brings together the relevant information and capabilities across the specialized repository, negotiation and workflows agents. For teams, this means no need to know where a particular answer, tool or capability sits.

Access the right information through natural language conversation across Luminance

Lumi is available from the home screen and across the platform, giving you a simple starting point wherever you’re working. You can ask Lumi to navigate the Luminance platform, find the right information or explain how to complete a task.

For example, you could ask Lumi which contracts in your inbox need attention. Lumi can pull the relevant content from Outlook and provide a summary of your priorities.

You could then ask Lumi to compare the contract to similar ones within the repository, check relevant clauses against verified external legal sources. Lumi can then bring the findings together in a comparison table or downloadable report, all within the same conversation. This creates a more intuitive way to interact with Luminance every day.

Bring answers across your documents and contract portfolio together

• Analyze documents: Users can upload, query and compare up to 20 documents in one conversation and create executive summaries and deviation tables

• Explore your portfolio: Ask any question across the repository of executed contracts, run portfolio searches in the background and prepare reports, helping teams surface relevant information through Lumi without building the search yourself.

• Add external context: Use External sources to explore legislation, case law and regulatory guidance alongside your contracts, helping you assess agreements in the context of the wider legal and regulatory environment.

Helping users act with confidence

Lumi helps users carry their analysis into the next stage of work. Summaries and insights can be turned into downloadable documents and reviewed in split screen, with Lumi remaining visible alongside the document or page they’re working on. Uploaded and generated documents can also be saved in Lumi Files for easy access later.

Throughout the experience, users can see the sources, steps, and tools behind Lumi’s responses, helping them understand how an answer was produced and validate the supporting context.

Together, these capabilities make it easier to access Contract Intelligence, connect the relevant context and act on the results. Users can begin with a natural-language request and move through research, comparison, analysis, and creation without needing to coordinate the different tools themselves.
