Luminance, the pioneer in Legal-Grade™ AI, has been named to the 2025 Forbes AI 50, joining the ranks of the most prominent AI companies globally.

Selected from a pool of nearly 2,000 applicants, this year’s list was among the most competitive to date, judged on technical innovation, business performance, and AI impact. Luminance is the only company founded in Cambridge, UK, to be featured and one of just three UK-based businesses recognised. CEO Eleanor Lightbody is also among only six women leading companies on this year’s list.

In February, Luminance announced a $75M Series C fundraise led by Point72 Private Investments, bringing total funding to $115M in a 12-month period. The round supports further expansion of its agentic, end-to-end workflows – intelligent AI agents with both short- and long-term memory that can perform multiple tasks in parallel.
