Legal Technology Specialist
Where: London, New York, Singapore
The Legal Technology Specialist (LT) role combines technical understanding and communication with practical delivery to provide excellent customer service. LTs provide technical expertise in pre-sales and post-sales accounts, working together with our Legal Product Experts (LPEs) and Support team. During the pre-sale cycle, the LT will deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs), showcasing Luminance’s technology and its ability to fulfil the individual customer’s use cases. After the sale, the LT will work to ensure the product and technology meet the needs of the customer, as well as assisting in providing first-rate support.
National and international travel will likely be required.

Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact, liaising between clients and all business units within Luminance
- Work with LPEs to deliver successful PoCs, from planning stages to final review
- Understand the individual use cases and needs of each customer and design, overseeing implementation of technical solutions where required
- Provide advice to and be a technical authority for customers about Luminance’s products and technologies
- Provide feedback and technical reporting on accounts to Luminance management
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific, technical or engineering discipline, with a 2:1 or above (UK) or GPA of 3.5 or above (US)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience and proven ability to work autonomously and in a team in an innovative and fast-paced environment whilst delivering to deadlines
- Enthusiasm for innovation, experimentation and self-development in the legal technology field
- Experience with customer-facing activities (pre-/post-sales) is desirable, but not essential
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience, including knowledge of the legal technology is desirable, but not essential
- Experience communicating with both technical and senior management is desirable, but not essential
- Practical experience with developing or supporting web-based applications and related technologies is also desirable, but not essential.
