Wenner set to achieve time savings of up to 85% with Luminance's AI

-22 October 2020- Prestigious French law firm, Wenner, have announced its adoption of Luminance, the leading artificial intelligence platform for the legal profession. The firm are using Luminance’s cutting-edge AI solution to accelerate the review process when conducting due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, real estate and other transactions.

Whilst previously, Wenner had relied on manual review processes to conduct legal document review, this was proving to be too time-intensive for the firm. Using Luminance’s advanced AI tool, Wenner is convinced to see significant time savings for a due diligence review.

Luminance’s award-winning technology uniquely blends supervised and unsupervised machine learning to actively read and form an understanding of legal data, instantly flagging key information such as datapoints, clauses and anomalies without the need for intensive pre-programming or machine training. Luminance allows lawyers to gain enhanced insight into their documents on day one of a review and is flexible enough to assist lawyers in a diverse range of legal practice areas, including M&A due diligence, eDiscovery and ensuring compliance with regulatory changes.

Further, as a firm that primarily advises international companies on all cross-cultural issues, Luminance’s revolutionary language and jurisdiction-agnostic technology was a crucial selling point for Wenner. In fact, Luminance is currently deployed in 70% of European countries and is in use in over 80 languages.

Luminance’s acting CEO, Jason Brennan, comments: “We are delighted to work with such an innovative and talented law firm. Wenner is clearly dedicated to delivering a world-class client through use of advanced AI-powered technologies.” He continues, “By allowing lawyers to get to the crunch of the deal quicker than ever before, Luminance’s technology allows lawyers to focus on what matters.”

Jens Förderer, Partner at Wenner, adds, “Using Luminance, our lawyers are able to spend less time on the repetitive, administrative tasks and more time on the legal analysis, client management and consultancy work that adds real value to our legal services. We are excited to bring the power of machine learning technology to our legal practice.”

Luminance is currently used by over 250 law firms and organisations in over 50 countries worldwide. Last year, Luminance was made a ‘Technology Pioneer’ by the World Economic Forum and made CNBC’s ‘Upstart 100’ list.
